Meet The Pastor
Pastor Paul L. Green Sr. is a very Passionate Man of God, who has a love and vision for God's people. He was saved in the spring of 1962 in a revival conducted by two young Minister of a different faith at Grace and truth church in Portland Oregon, he accepted his call to the Ministry in 1965; being drafted into the service that year during the Vietnam War. He served in the Medical Corp, as a conscientious objector.
After returning home he continued in his ministry, serving as Sunday school teacher, Youth leader, Organizer of youth events community services, prison ministries. In late July of 1966 Pastor Paul. L. Green Sr. married the love of his life Ms.Betty Jean Hall and they were united in holy matrimony, and the call upon their lives as leader's began. He was ordained as a Elder in 1976 in the full Gospel Association. In 1979 he became a member of the Church Of God In Christ. He became the Jurisdictional Secretary under the late Bishop J.C Foster and has held that position for 33 years. In 1983 he founded his Church The Love Temple COGIC, and began Pastoring.
Pastor Green presently Serves as the State Secretary to the Oregon Northwest COGIC Organization here in Portland Oregon, under the leadership of Bishop H.B Daniel's Jr.
Pastor Green loves the Lord and working in ministry, he is a firm believer that "Only what you do for Christ will last" sharing his life and ministry with his wife First Lady Green, they know that "The best is yet to come" they were blessed to have five son's; David Everett, Paul Jr, Markus Earl, Eric Darnell and Christopher Morris Green, who all happens to be ordained Elder's following their father's foot steps, and the voice of God; teaching the Gospel and ministering to the world! He has five daughter -In -laws and a total of nine grandchildren.
Pastor Green loves the lord with all of his heart, with a passion for Prayer, and the work for the body of Christ.
Love Temple Ministries has just celebrated 30 years of service, Pastor Green's vision is to expand the church and to continue to teach and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
